Why Should I Link My Sub
domain To Google and Bing's Webmaster Tools?
We recommend linking
your sub domain, a very simple process, to Google and Bing's Webmaster Tools.
When you link to the Webmaster Tools site you will be able to:
Gain a better
understanding of Google and Bing's view of your site and diagnosing problems,
e.g., is Google crawling your site and indexing it?
·
Look at your link and
query traffic, e.g., look at internal as well as external links to your sub
domain and find out which search queries are bringing your sub domain traffic
and how those searchers are finding you.
·
Share information
about your sub domain with Google and Bing.
·
File a reconsideration
of your site request to Google if your sub domain has unfairly lost traffic.
Below is the step-by-step guide in linking
your sub domain to Google and Bing's Webmaster Tools as well as photo guides.
